Contract / Payment

The contract is concluded with the agreement of an appointment/order at 'mydogspot'. Upon conclusion of such a contract, the customer acknowledges having read and understood the General Terms and Conditions and accepting them. Payment within the period stated on the invoice in cash, with TWINT or by bank transfer. At the end of each month, 'mydogspot' creates an accurate invoice for their regular day care customers. In the case of repeated late payment, 'mydogspot' can refuse to take care of the dog.

In the event of a failure due to illness, accident, etc., 'mydogspot' cannot be held liable for the resulting costs.

Cancellation of day care

No invoice will be issued within 3 days.

Within 2 days before 7:00 p.m., 50% of the day care price will be charged.

Within 1 day before 7 p.m. 75% of the day care price will be charged.

Within 1 day after 7 p.m. or in case of no-show, 100% of the day care price will be charged.

Boarding must be paid for in advance.

Cancellation of boarding:

must be made 28 days in advance in order to receive 100% of the amount paid.

must be made 21 days in advance in order to receive 75% of the amount paid.

must be made 14 days in advance in order to receive 50% of the amount paid.

less than 13 days in advance: the payment is non-refundable.

Order

If required picking up and bringing the dog to the agreed place (work or apartment/house of the pet owner) at the agreed time. Feeding, any administration of medication, or other agreements during the care period are included. 'mydogspot' is obliged to fulfill the assigned tasks to the best of its knowledge in good faith.

Liability / Insurance

Liability insurance for the dog is the responsibility of the pet owner. Costs for damage caused by the dog are at the full expense of the pet owner. In the event of an accident or illness of the animal, 'mydogspot' is only liable in the event of gross negligence or demonstrable disregard of the duty to supervise. 'mydogspot' is not liable for the dog running away through no fault of its own, nor for the resulting damage and health consequences. This also applies to injuries while playing, romping around or on walks. The pet owner undertakes to inform 'mydogspot' in full about the health of the dog.

The pet owner assures that the dog does not have any contagious diseases and that all necessary vaccinations have been carried out. If a dog is proven to have an infectious disease, the pet owner of this dog also bears the resulting costs for the treatment of the infected dogs. The dog is also chipped and dewormed.

If 'mydogspot' has not been informed of the heat in good time, 'mydogspot' cannot assume any liability in the event of a mating.

'mydogspot' has public liability insurance.

Duties

'mydogspot' undertakes to comply with the provisions of the Animal Welfare Act during the care. If a visit to the vet is necessary, the animal owner undertakes to pay for all costs incurred for the treatment. If possible, the owner's veterinarian will be consulted. The pet owner leaves the decision about any treatments at the veterinarian if the pet owner is unavailable, as well as their emergency contact (optional) entirely to 'mydogspot' and the consulted veterinarian. In extreme cases, this also applies to an emergency euthanasia (euthanasia) of the animal if neither the animal owner nor their emergency contact can be reached and it cannot be waited any longer without causing further suffering. In both cases, the animal owner undertakes to pay for all costs incurred. 'mydogspot' notifies the pet owner of any abnormalities in the dog, especially injuries and health problems.

'mydogspot' undertakes not to pass on any house key belonging to the pet owner to third parties without prior consultation, nor to take any other people into the pet owner's rooms.

Pick up the dog

If the agreed stay of the dog is exceeded by three days for reasons for which 'mydogspot' is not to blame, 'mydogspot' is entitled to give the dog to someone else. If this is not possible, 'mydogspot' will try to place the dog with a dog-loving person or an animal shelter. Should this result in additional costs, these are borne solely by the dog owner.

Collection from mydogspot is possible by 8 p.m. at the latest or the next day.

From 18:30 p.m. on weekdays, every 15 minutes started costs an additional 10 francs.

Data protection

All information about the pet owner will not be passed on to third parties without their express consent. The dog owner gives 'mydogspot' his express consent to the storage of all data relevant to dog care. Furthermore, he agrees to the disclosure of this data with regard to necessary veterinary treatment or substituted care.

General Provisions

Swiss law applies to any disputes. The place of jurisdiction is the location of 'mydogspot'.
