TERMS & CONDITIONS
Contract / Payment The contract is established upon the agreement of an appointment or order with "mydogspot GmbH." By finalizing such a contract, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the General Terms and Conditions. Payment is to be made in cash, via TWINT, or through bank transfer within the period specified on the invoice. "mydogspot GmbH" will issue a detailed invoice to its regular customers in day care on the 15th of each month for a 30-day period. In the event of repeated payment delays, "mydogspot GmbH" reserves the right to refuse the dog's care. "mydogspot GmbH" cannot be held liable for any costs arising from cancellations due to illness, accidents, etc.
Cancellation of Day Care and Boarding - No invoice will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days. - For cancellations made within 2 days before 7:00 PM, 50% of the day care fee will be charged. - For cancellations made within 1 day before 7:00 PM, 75% of the day care fee will be charged. - For cancellations made within 1 day after 7:00 PM or in the case of no-shows, 100% of the day care fee will be charged. Holiday care must be paid in advance. Cancellation of holiday care must be made as follows to receive a refund of the paid amount: - 28 days in advance for a 100% refund. - 21 days in advance for a 75% refund. - 14 days in advance for a 50% refund. - Less than 13 days in advance: No refund will be issued.
Dog Care Service Agreement As needed, the pick-up and drop-off of the dog will be conducted at the agreed location (workplace or residence of the pet owner) at the specified time. Feeding, administering any medication, or any other arrangements during the care period are included. "mydogspot GmbH" is committed to fulfilling the entrusted tasks to the best of its knowledge and ability.
Liability / Insurance The liability insurance for the dog is the responsibility of the pet owner. Any costs for damages caused by the dog will be fully borne by the pet owner. In the event of an accident or illness of the animal, "mydogspot GmbH" is liable only in cases of gross negligence or demonstrable neglect of supervisory duties. "mydogspot GmbH" is not liable for any damages or health consequences resulting from the dog running away without fault. This also applies to injuries incurred while playing, frolicking, or during walks. The pet owner agrees to fully inform "mydogspot GmbH" about the dog's health status. The pet owner assures that the dog does not have any contagious diseases and that all necessary vaccinations have been administered. If a contagious disease is confirmed in a dog, the pet owner of that dog will also be responsible for the resulting treatment costs of the infected dogs. Additionally, the dog must be microchipped and dewormed. If "mydogspot GmbH" is not informed in a timely manner about the dog being in heat, it cannot assume liability in the event of mating. "mydogspot GmbH" has business liability insurance.
Responsibilities "mydogspot GmbH" is committed to adhering to the provisions of the Animal Welfare Act during the care of the animals. Should a visit to the veterinarian be necessary, the pet owner agrees to cover all costs incurred for the treatment. Whenever possible, the owner's veterinarian will be consulted. The pet owner grants "mydogspot GmbH" and the consulted veterinarian the authority to make decisions regarding any treatments if the pet owner is unreachable, including their emergency contact (optional). This applies in extreme cases, including the euthanasia of the animal, if neither the pet owner nor their emergency contact can be reached, and if waiting any longer would cause further suffering. In both cases, the pet owner agrees to cover all associated costs. "mydogspot GmbH" will inform the pet owner of any abnormalities observed in the dog, particularly concerning injuries and health issues. "mydogspot GmbH" is committed to not sharing the pet owner's house key with third parties without prior consent and will not bring other individuals into the pet owner's premises.
Dog Retrieval Policy If the agreed duration of the dog's stay is exceeded by three days for reasons not attributable to "mydogspot GmbH," "mydogspot GmbH" has the right to rehome the dog. If this is not possible, "mydogspot GmbH" will attempt to place the dog with a dog-loving individual or a shelter. Any additional costs incurred as a result will be the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Pick-up from "mydogspot GmbH" is possible until no later than 8:00 PM or the following day. On weekdays, starting from 6:30 PM, each commenced quarter-hour will incur an additional charge of 10 francs.
Data Protection All information regarding the pet owner will not be disclosed to third parties without their explicit consent. The pet owner grants "mydogspot GmbH" explicit permission to store all data relevant to the dog care services. Furthermore, the pet owner agrees to the sharing of this data in relation to necessary veterinary treatment or substitute care.
General Provisions
Swiss law applies to any disputes. The place of jurisdiction is the location of 'mydogspot GmbH'.
